From the Rose Garden 2026Sierra’s recent ambitious project are large and small scale works which are inspired by Vincent’s Roses. Sierra is a forever admirer of Vincent’s work especially his roses. Her roses have unique personalities of bold and colorful impressions that bring a sense of joy and enchantment. Do you see the cycles of life? Some roses are fresh and newly budding like a new born baby, while others are aging, a little droopy and worn but gave it their all to attract the bees and butterflies. Which roses look the most like Vincent’s to you? Did you know? Warm colors include red, orange, and yellow, and variations of those three colors. These are the colors of fire, of fall leaves, and of sunsets and sunrises, and are generally energizing, passionate, positive, and joyful. Cool colors include green, blue, and purple are calming and harmonizing. Green is a very down–to–earth color. Green has many of the same calming attributes that blue has, but it also incorporates some of the energy of yellow. In design, green can have a balancing and harmonizing effect, and is very stable. Oranges and Purples are two of her favorite colors and are strongly associated with creativity and imagination.
